Taunya Young Cleveland, Ohio

Taunya Young has been involved with improving education for young people in urban areas for fifteen years. Mrs. Young earned her Bachelors of Education from Cleveland State University. She currently serves as assistant director and teaches second grade at Golden Christian Academy. She also works as a parent coordinator with the School Choice Network under the School Choice Committee in Ohio. Mrs. Young has also served as the vice president of the East Cleveland Gifted and Talented Association. She has worked with the Head Start Program and also with the Board of Mental Retardation in Ohio.
