Eddie K. Edwards Detroit, Michigan

In 1986, Rev. Eddie K. Edwards developed a strategy and programs to revitalize the Ravedale Community. This effort has received national attention via a Points of Light Award (107th) and a national award- winning TV documentary entitled "A Neighborhood Redeemed."

Rev. Edwards presently serves as CEO of Joy of Jesus, Inc. This nonprofit group’s primary goal is to promote positive values and healthy lifestyles as a means to help underprivileged youth become responsible citizens who can make a meaningful contribution to society. Rev. Edwards is an ordained minister with a Honorary Doctorate’s degree from Madonna College.
