Willie H. Breazell is active in a growing coalition of Colorado residents that have made expanded educational options a major issue in that state.
Willie recently received national attention when his support for school choice led to his ouster as President of the Colorado Springs branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).
Willie is a Senior Systems Analyst with Litton-TASC, Inc. He is a graduate of St. Leo University in Florida. A native of Las Cruces, N.M., he and his wife of 29 years, Helen, have four children and four grandchildren. His many community activities and affiliations include: the Urban League; President-elect, Garden of Gods Rotary Club; Toastmasters International; American Red Cross fundraising; and Habitat for Humanity community. He is a frequent commentator in local and national media.
Willie served in the U.S.
Army during the Vietnam War and is a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserve.
