Job Description:
The Philadelphia Chapter of the Black Alliance for Educational Options is seeking a full time Administrative Assistant. This full time position will support several programs in our Philadelphia office.
Job Requirements:
Candidate must be well organized and capable of providing a full range of administrative duties. Responsibilities include speaking with parents and administrators at schools, coordinating parent meetings, overseeing volunteers at parent meetings, special projects, maintaining data bases, conducting research and the ability to work on multiple tasks. Strong oral and written communication skills a must. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel or a data management software. Competitive candidates will have at least an Associates Degree, a car with valid license, registration, insurance and a flexible evening and occasional weekend work schedule.
