Being a national member of the Black Alliance for Educational Options means you are investing in a brighter future for our children. Your membership dues help us in our continuing struggle to empower families and create quality educational options for black children.

Our membership is made up of people from a variety of backgrounds and educational interests. It includes students, parents, public and private school educators, administrators, school board members, faculty and staff in higher education, business professionals, community activists, policy makers, religious leaders, and staff of local and national non-profit organizations.

More importantly, our members are dedicated to our mission  to actively support parental choice to empower families and increase quality educational options for Black children. We also believe that empowering parents, particularly those with low-incomes, with opportunities to determine the best educational environment for their children, is one of our nation’s highest priorities.

New members will receive a packet of information outlining the options we support, a membership certificate, lapel pin as well as regular correspondence to keep you apprised of BAEO’s activities throughout the year.

BAEO offers a variety of Life and Single-year memberships. Individuals who join BAEO will automatically be provided membership in the chapter located in their area, if applicable.

Option 1 – Life Memberships : Payment Options

Diamond $2,500	Make one payment of $2,500 or pay a minimum of $250/year for 10 years.
Gold $1,500	Make one payment of $1,500 or pay a minimum of $150/year for 10 years.
Silver $ 900	Make one payment of $900 or pay a minimum of $150/year for 6 years.
Bronze $ 500	Make one payment of $500 or pay a minimum of $100/year for 5 years.
